Warner Bros. Records / Warner Music Nashville Group Earns Critical Acclaim For Sting’s “57th And 9th” Tour

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (May 17, 2017) – After spending the spring playing shows spanning Europe and South America alongside music icon Sting, The Last Bandoleros are returning to the United States for their own “Crooked Little Halo” Tour. The headlining trek will take their unique, genre-bending sound across the country, including performances in Nashville, New York, Philadelphia and more.
Having joined Sting’s “57th and 9th” Tour in North America before heading overseas, The Last Bandoleros have already established themselves as one of the most exciting up-and-coming bands on the road. The foursome has earned praise from outlets all across the country, including The Tennessean, The Orange County Register and The Boston Globe, who raved that the band “came out on fire and just kept burning with twangy, smoldering rock ‘n’ roll laced with boot-stomping, accordion-fueled kick of Tex-Mex.” The Minneapolis Star-Tribune and The Kansas City Star praised their unique rock sound, while Volume magazine declared their set “a celebratory affair with the crowd at hand on their feet and clapping to the rhythm.”

The People Magazine’s “Ones To Watch” band comprises Jerry Fuentes (guitar and vocals), Derek James (guitar and vocals), Diego Navaira (bass and vocals) and Emilio Navaira (drums and vocals). Managed by Martin Kierszenbaum at Cherrytree Management, The Last Bandoleros burst onto the Nashville scene in 2016 and have earned widespread recognition. Rolling Stone named them an “Artist to Watch” and hailed them “the next generation of Tex-Mex renegades,” while Entertainment Weekly featured the band as one of their “Breaking Big” artists. They released their self-titled debut EP, produced by the group’s own Jerry Fuentes and written in its entirety by the foursome, in January and are currently working on a full-length record.
