Warner Bros. Records / Warner Music Nashville Group Also Added to 18th Annual AMERICANAFEST℠ Line-Up

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (July 6, 2017) – The Last Bandoleros, a band whose music The Boston Globe describes as “burning with twangy, smoldering rock ‘n’ roll,” will be making their debut on the historic Grand Ole Opry stage on September 15. It was also just announced that the genre-bending group have been added to the list of artists slated to perform at the 18th Annual AMERICANAFEST℠, which runs from September 12-17 in Nashville, TN. The foursome has spent the summer touring across Europe and South America alongside music icon Sting and is currently out on their own headlining “Crooked Little Halo” Tour.

As one of the most exciting up-and-coming bands on the road, The Last Bandoleros have earned praise from outlets all across the country, including The Tennessean, The Orange County Register and The Minneapolis Star-Tribune. Houston Press declared them “excellent” while The Kansas City Star praised their unique rock sound and Volume magazine raved that their set was “a celebratory affair.”

The People Magazine’s “Ones To Watch” band comprises Jerry Fuentes (guitar and vocals), Derek James (guitar and vocals), Diego Navaira (bass and vocals) and Emilio Navaira (drums and vocals). Managed by Martin Kierszenbaum at Cherrytree Management, The Last Bandoleros burst onto the Nashville scene in 2016 and have earned widespread recognition. Rolling Stone named them an “Artist to Watch” and hailed them “the next generation of Tex-Mex renegades,” while Entertainment Weekly featured the band as one of their “Breaking Big” artists. They released their self-titled debut EP, produced by the group’s own Jerry Fuentes and written in its entirety by the foursome, in January and are currently working on a full-length record.
